I have not used any micellar water. Recently, I bought this micellar water from Nykaa to try out. Today I am reviewing this Garnier micellar cleansing water. Before getting into the review first know what is micellar water.

What is Micellar Water?

Micelles are tiny molecules of cleansing oil that are suspended in water. The micelles act as magnets to dirt, impurities, and oil and attract them without damaging or drying the skin out. Micelles + water = Micellar Water.

Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water Review

Texture: The texture is like water. This micellar water is lightweight and does not form any lather. It has no fragrance at all.

So far, I haven’t used any micellar water. This is my first micellar water. Before that, I was using cleansing milk, which is very good for the skin, does not dry out the skin, and removes makeup as well.

This micellar water removes foundation, Concealer, lipsticks as well as eye makeup like kajal, mascara, eyeliner, and eyeshadow. This is best for everyday use. But for matte liquid lipsticks, it takes multiple swipes to remove it.

I use about 2 cotton pads with cleansing water for my whole face and neck. After this, I use a cleanser if I am at home as I like to double cleanse. During travel, I use the cleansing water and then just plain water to rinse off. My face doesn’t feel dry or irritated after using this product.

Compared to other micellar waters, it is very affordable. It is perfect for removing daily makeup. Honestly speaking it removes makeup for eyes and lips when I use 2 swipes, not in one swipe. I won’t say it worked like a magnet and took out the maximum amount of makeup in one go. Even after taking 2 or 3 cotton pads, the makeup was still coming off.

Pros of Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water:

  • Effectively removes liquid and powder foundation, lip, and eye makeup.
  • Do not make skin dry after use.
  • Fragrance-free.
  • Dermatologically tested.
  • It is suitable for all skin types including sensitive skin.

Cons of Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water:

  • It might not be as effective as heavy waterproof mascara.
  • It can be used only with cotton balls or pads, not tissues.

TBB Rating:  4.3/5

Final Verdict:

I love this micellar water and recommend this product to everyone as it suits every skin type and is very affordable also.
