Women love applying makeup. Makeup is enhancing the beauty of women. But using a lot of chemical loaded makeup products can damage your skin. Some times you don’t find the best blush for your skin tone or get the flawless coverage you are looking for in foundation on the market. 

We all know today’s situation. Due to lockdown all shops are close and in the meantime, we finished our makeup products, then what should we do. You can make DIY makeup products with ingredients you already have at home.

 Making makeup products is very easy and also you know which products you are using and also chemical-free. It used by all-natural ingredients and many of you are find these ingredients in your kitchen. So let’s started.

Primer:

Primer is essential in our makeup routine because applying primer gives a smooth canvas to applying makeup flawlessly. This DIY primer does not work as an expensive fully chemical loaded primer but it is worth trying out using natural ingredients.

How to make your own makeup primer at home

What you will need:

Aloe vera gel
Glycerine
Vitamin e capsule
Container

Process:

Take an empty container and add 2 tbsp aloe vera gel (Using ready-made aloe vera gel is the best option as it lasts longer).
Then add 1/2 tbsp glycerin and one vitamin e capsule.

Mixing all the ingredients properly and make a creamy consistency.
The consistency should be like a ready-made primer consistency.


Tips: If you are not using glycerin and vitamin e capsule then only aloe vera gel works as a primer.

Bb cream:

Bb cream is a combination of moisturizer with some tinted foundation. Foundation gives good coverage but bb cream works as a tinted moisturizer that we can use daily basis.

How to make your own bb cream

What will you need:

Moisturiser
Talcum powder
Coffee
Turmeric

Process:

Take an empty container and add moisturizer which you are using daily basis then add talcum powder and mix well.

 After that add some coffee powder and add a pinch of turmeric mixing well and check it as until it matches your skin tone.

If this mixture darker than your skin tone then add again pinch of turmeric and mix well.And lighter than your skin tone then add some coffee powder as well.

This bb cream does not give you full coverage or don’t expect market bb cream results but it works as a tinted moisturizer which you can use.

Loose powder:

What will you need:

Cornflour
 Fuller’s earth (Multani mitti)
Coco or coffee powder

Process:

Take an empty container and add cornflour, Multani mitti, and cocoa powder as mixed it well until it matches your skin tone.

DIY Eyeshadow Primer:

Eyeshadow primer works as a base for the eyelids for achieving the best eye makeup look by evening out and no more creasing. It also makes your eye makeup more vibrant and last longer throughout the day.

What you will need:

Face moisturizer
Aloe vera gel
Concealer

Process:

Take an empty container and add some face moisturizer and add aloe vera gel and add some concealer and mixed well and make a creamy consistency.

Kajal or Gel eyeliner:

Making Kajal or gel eyeliner at home is so fun. This DIY works both as Kajal and gel eyeliner.

What will you need:

Beeswax( If you don’t have beeswax then you can use candle wax)
Coconut oil
Charcoal powder

Process:

Take a candle wax/ beeswax and then add coconut oil and charcoal powder and melted it using a double boiler method and when the wax melted then mix it.

When mix it properly keep it small container and refrigerate it for some hour.

It can be used as Kajal or gel eyeliner.

DIY eyebrow fill:

What will you need:

Cocoa powder
Coffee powder
Aloe vera gel
Coconut oil
Cornflour

Process:

Take an empty container and add 1/2 tbsp cocoa powder and coffee powder then add aloe vera gel, coconut oil. Mixing all ingredients very well. 

If you feel consistency is not thick then add cornflour and mixed it well as consistency is not thick.

Blush powder:

Cornflour:
Rose powder or beetroot powder

Process:

Take a container to add cornflour and beetroot powder and mixed well as to which color you want.

DIY mascara:

Mascara opens up your eyes and gives some volumes in which your eye looks more beautiful and attractive. If you want to go all-natural, you need to try out this mascara.

What will you need:

Beeswax
Charcoal powered
Shea butter
jojoba oil
Coconut oil
Vitamin e capsule

Process:

Add the coconut oil, Shea butter, Beeswax, and jojoba oil in the top layer of the double boiler. Turn on the gas and set it to medium-low heat.

Using your spatula gently mix all ingredients until they all are melted properly. Take the top layer off the heat.

Add the vitamin e oil and charcoal powder and mix all ingredients.
Once it’s well mixed then pour into the ziplock bag and allow it to cool down.

Make a small cut one of the corners of the ziplock bag. Gently squeeze out the mascara into the empty mascara tube.

Viola! Your homemade natural mascara is ready.

Shea butter
Arrowroot powder
Beetroot powder for pink
Red clay for red
Charcoal powder for black color
Cocoa powder for brown
Turmeric for gold
Safron for orange
White clay for white color

Process:

Add the arrowroot powder into a bowl and add the color of your choice and mixing properly with a small amount and adjust the color until you get your desired shade.

Add the Shea butter and mix it properly and make the mixture creamy.

Beetroot juice
Glycerine
Cornflour

Process:

Take a beetroot juice on the pan and heat it until beetroot juice has thickened form and the water is evaporated.

Then add glycerin and mixed well. If you feel it does not thicken as you want then add cornflour and mix well.
